There are many ways to best tackle comprehensions. It’s very rare that a student can read and actually absorb what they have read in a text in a timely fashion and be able to answers with minimal recourse to the text.

Very few students genuinely enjoy tackling comprehensions!

For most students, the best approach is probably to skim the text and then go to the questions. It is essential to read the options before looking back to find the answer.
