This week we have concentrated on NVR, in particular sequences and matrices.
We have found that the more able students tend to over complicate some questions and are missing some obvious answers.
Given that we have learnt from feedback from previous students that the CEM tests have contained more NVR questions than maths, we think it is vital that our students are exposed to plenty of practice in this subject. But it is impractical to expect to teach all the possible types of NVR, so therefore we have recommended that parents buy the CGP books for extra practice at home, and we will continue to concentrate on what has appeared in the last 3 years; sequences and matrices.
